Horizon Academy Institute Internship: Building the Next Generation of Leaders

Horizon Academy Institute (HAI) offers a weekend internship program for students in Grades 9 to 12 that give them the opportunity to explore a variety of leadership skills by working closely with our HAI academic and administrative staff.

 Dr. Reda Bedeir is coming to Calgary on Sunday Dec. 1st, 2013 for two special talks:

1230pm – 0200pm  “Be a Traveler…” Open to BOYS AND GIRLS AGED 12 TO 17 YEARS only. 


Venue: Horizon Academy Institute, 2519 Richmond Road SW, Calgary, Alberta

Parking: FREE on-site but please save the environment and car-pool. 

Baby Sitting: Available on-site.

About Dr. Reda Bedeir.  Dr. Bedeir is a highly sought Islamic motivational speaker that carries a life-time worth of achievements.  Starting from Egypt, he was invited by the University of Calgary to teach Qur’anic Classical Arabic while serving as an Imam for the Calgary Islamic Centre. Dr. Bedeir then moved to Burnaby, BC to serve as the Muslim Chaplain at Simon Fraser University.  Currently, Dr. Bedeir serves as a sessional Instructor with the Interdisciplinary Studies Program of Religious Studies at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta.  Dr. Bedeir holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. both in Islamic Sciences from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.
